LOGAN, Utah – By announcing the release of its newest product, the Portable Outdoor Oven, Camp Chef continues providing innovative products that enhance the outdoor lifestyle.

The Portable Outdoor Oven is compact and portable, making it possible for outdoor cooking enthusiasts to broaden their menus by adding baking to their repertoire. With the capacity to fit a 9 x 13 pan inside, the oven allows users to bake their favorite food dishes even when out of their kitchen.

“This kitchen-style oven is easy to bake with and fun to use in the outdoors,” said Ty Measom, President of Camp Chef. “Today, more and more families are going on camping trips seeking the outdoors as a vacation destination. Our products, especially the Portable Outdoor Oven, were designed to enrich the time families spend together while away from home.

Ty Measom founded Camp Chef in 1990. Measom designed Camp Chef’s first stove, the DB60D, a two-burner stove with side shelves. It has changed some over the years but it is still the flag ship of the Camp Chef line renamed the Pro 60, which when released, created a buzz about the new way to cook outdoors.

Wireless Thermometer Designed to Take the Guess Work Out of Cooking Meat

Cooking outdoors has traditionally been a tedious process, but like every Camp Chef product, the Wireless Barbecue Thermometer has been designed to make outdoor cooking easier and more convenient. The new wireless thermometer allows you to check your temperatures via thermometer from up to 100 feet away. A stainless steel probe that is attached to a wired transmitter can be placed inside a smoker, grill or inside a Camp Chef Dutch oven for accurate temperature readings.

This device does more than just provide temperatures; it also gives suggested cooking temperatures for six different meats and has an alarm that will sound once desired temperature is met. This remote also contains a LED light for easy viewing in the dark.
